Weekend Recap

Wow! I just finished reading all of your blogs from this past weekend! It took me a little longer than I thought it would. Anyway, Mr. D and I had a really good weekend. Friday night we went out with some friends and played darts again.

I actually won a game of darts!!!

Can you believe it?! I was so excited that I took a picture of the scoreboard. I'll have to post that later though because I'm too lazy right now to find the camera. I'm not lying either - I totally won! So then on Saturday, Mr. D and I relaxed at home until it was time for our evening festivities. Mr. D went with a friend to see Tesla who was playing at the House of Blues here in Dallas. I went out with 2 of my best girlfriends! We met up at Chili's at 8pm for dinner and margaritas before we headed over to the movie theater to see He's Just Not That Into You!

This movie was really cute and is a perfect for Girls Night Out movie choice! We laughed so much at all of the different characters and the crazy things that they were doing. Oh, and I do still love Jennifer Aniston! I will be adding this movie to my collection when it comes out on DVD. :) The only downer part of the night was definitely the crazy laughing guy in the row behind us. He was sitting a few seats down and had the most retarded, LOUD, laugh that it really was pretty funny. He laughed at the stupidest moments and even whistled at one point. Most of the time this would seem like a big annoyance, but for some reason we were all just laughing really hard at him because for some reason he just seemed to add a little extra humor to the movie. He was there alone and we almost thought that he was just doing it to be funny or to mess with everyone in the theater. He wasn't. He was just genuinely corney. We laughed about him all the way out to the car and then on the ride home. I am still laughing about him.

He better not be at the next movie I go to see.

If he is, I will be mad. This movie was lighthearted so it didn't really matter, but that is not always the case with every movie as you all know. Then on Sunday, Mr. D and I made our weekly trip to Target for some groceries. Nothing too exciting there. Then we did some more relaxing, movie watching, cooking, etc. Overall, it was a very nice relaxing weekend. I can't wait until next weekend. Mr. D's birthday is on Thursday and we are celebrating on Saturday! I can't wait... more on that later though. Time to prepare for the rest of the week and a lovely accounting financial statement project for school. Oh, the joy!

PS - When In Rome is having a giveaway for some great perfume. She is only 3 posts away from the giveaway deadline, so check out her blog and try to snag yourself some sweet perfume!

I can't wait to see that movie. I pray there isn't a guy like that when I go.

I can't wait to see that movie too...last time I went to a movie there was an annoying 12 year old who had to sit right in front of me where my legs were propped up. Ugh, I hate teenagers at the movie theatre
