Friday Favorites!

Wow! I can't believe that it's Friday already! This week really flew by, but I'm so glad that it's over. It's always nice to get a couple of days off to relax and take a break from the everyday hustle and bustle.

On this weeks edition of Friday Favorites, I am going to shift gears from facial products to hair products. I love Biosilk's Silk Therapy! It really makes my hair so silky and soft everyday. I can honestly tell a difference if I forget to put it on. You can put in on wet or dry hair, or skin. I only use it for my hair, but one of my old bosses would rub it on her legs and elbows when they would start to get dry. I'm more of a lotion kind of gal for my legs and elbows, but whatever!

Biosilk recently changed their packaging. I am still seeing both types in stores, so I thought I would post a picture of both so you can recognize them if you do decide to go out and purchase this product. (The bottle with the black top is the old packaging.)

My second Friday Favorite of the day would be my beloved CHI flat iron!! I use this little guy pretty much everyday and I have had it for 6 years!! I don't remember my hair before this lovely product came along, or maybe I just choose not to! Ha!I have this black version, but they also come is these other lovely colors! They didn't start making the pretty colored ones until after I had mine for a while, but that's okay. You can pick up the pink one and help fight breast cancer!! If mine ever does decide to croak or if I break it, I am going to get one of the pink ones, because who doesn't love pink! :)

All of the products are from Farouk Systems and you can check them out, as well as other great products, on their website! Happy Friday Everybody!! :)

I use that biosilk ALL the time!!!!

Quick story: You know you're supposed to use like a dime-sized drop of it right? Yeah, well the ENTIRE bottle spilt in my dorm freshman year and I was slipping and sliding for DAYS. Awful. Haha!

I have heard amazing things about the Chi, but my current flat iron is still working out fine...when it goes to the great beyond I will give the Chi a try.

I love Biosilk, too - especially since I use a flat iron every day!
