The doctor gave me a good report... sort of

I went to the neurologist for my 6 month check up today. I was happy to report that I only had 3 migraines within the last 6 months! This was amazing and my doctor seemed to be surprised. I got all of my prescriptions refilled and since I am doing so well, I don't have to go back for a year!! Yay :) He said I was doing very well and was pleased with my response to the medication. He also told me that migraines is in my genes... CRAP! Doesn't that suck?! He said that you either get them or you don't. It's all a part of our genetic makeup. I just hope I don't pass the headache gene along to my future kids.

No on to my rant for the day...

Attention drivers in DFW:
If a corvette is pulled over on the side of the road for speeding, you DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT have to slow down, gawk, and stop traffic! I was already not really wanting to have to drive all the way to the doctors office, so I obviously do not want to sit on the interstate while you stare down the guy in the corvette.

End rant.

So what is everyone's St. Paddy's Day plans? I hope you all have fun and don't consume too much green beer!

I've been waiting for my doctor to call me and tell me that there's something messed up about my genes that causes me to do stupid things.

I've been waiting for about 12 years now, and nothing.

Maybe I should call him again.

Glad your meds are working and you are doing well, hopefully this will suppress them to even less than 3!
