Workout Woes

Lets start off here...

Workout update 5/30:
This workout went really, really well!! When I was done, I felt like I was ready to move up to level 2 of this program, but I am really wanting to stick to my plan of 10 days on each level. It was much easier to do all of the moves, and I was doing them with ease. So by the time the workout was done, I was pumped at how good we were both doing.

Moving on to what happened over the weekend...

Nothing. No workout at all! That's what happened.. until today. I know, I know, I totally got off track and I paid for it today! On Friday, Mr. D actually came home from work sick so he told me he would not be participating in that evenings workout. I vowed to stay on track and complete the workout with, or without a partner. Then, I started to feel a little bit under the weather as well. My stomach was killing me, so I decided to take the night off with plans to pick up on Saturday. So Saturday rolls around and we got so caught up in being out and about all day that we totally forgot to workout. We had plans to go out with friends Saturday night, which was lots of fun, but we didn't even get the chance to workout. This is the first weekend that we have come upon since starting this workout business, so I can't say I'm not surprised that we didn't think about it. I don't feel bad about missing the workout on Friday since we were sick, but I now know to schedule time during the day on Saturdays.

Sorry this post is just me rambling on how we missed 2 days or working out. I'll have something better to write about tomorrow!

So about tonight...

Workout update 6/30:
I totally sucked at this workout. Bad! I wasn't keeping up that well, and I wasn't doing the moves as good as I did on Thursday. I really just felt like I was more less bouncing around my living room. Mr. D however said that he felt like he did a lot better. He said that the two day break helped him get through today's workout much better. That just made me frustrated because I don't feel like I did much of anything.

Has this ever happened to you after taking a break for a couple of days? My deep lunges and high endurance levels for cardio better be back tomorrow night!

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!!

We have a workout plan where we go to the gym four days a week, and we never have two days of break, because two days off would be so bad for me. (like I probably would just stop going all together.) I do have those days, but tomorrow will be better for you. Sometimes your body just needs a break.

Also, I plan on making another batch of salsa today. Since I just taste test my salsa until it tastes perfect I never keep a recipe, but I am definitely going to write it down today and would love to share it. I'll get it to you tomorrow.
Have a great day!

I've started working out with my coworker, but I have already fallen off the horse.Hopefully I'll be able to go with her this week.

..I'm just going to wait til the summer comes so I can go running again.

I don't like family members watching me do cardio.

I don't know why.

Oh goodness, I think 2 days off would be really rough. I'm sure your next workout will be much better though.

I'm so glad to hear you guys are having good weather - I'm so ready for the cold weather here to be over!

Hope your Monday is going well!
